Class sign up process
If you would like to receive training from us you will start by filling out our Application for Training. Email this to us at training@practicalshootingconcepts.com. After the invoice is paid for, we will email you the course packet. The course packet will have all the information you need to prepare for the class to obtain the maximum training value.
When you arrive for the class you will need identification, the balance of your payment, the liability waiver and training agreement.

We usually give a discount for multiple students signing up together, or for one or more students signing up for multiple classes. We can only do this if we are the course producer, if we are teaching a contract course the tuition is set by the host.
Discounts are available for groups (build your own class)

Rental Equipment
We have rental firearms available for most classes. They are first come first serve. Holsters, magazines, magazine pouches and other needed supplies are included, except for ammunition. You may purchase ammunition from us or you must purchase approved brand.
PSC Updates
As most of our instructors have fulltime jobs in LE the military or as contractors, we’ve been hit or miss on being able to conduct civilian classes on a regular basis. We have a couple of new instructors and will be
teaching more CHL classes and Defensive Pistol classes.
Brazos Valley Law Enforcement Practical Shooting Competition
Brazosland Pistoleros held the first Brazos Valley Law Enforcement Practical Shooting Competition
on the 4th of June. It too was a success although many departments did not have any representation. Hopefully that will change at the next competition in November. The officers that did shoot, gave great feedback,
allowing the upcoming competition to better reflect skills pertinent to their job.
Texas State NRA Regional Tactical Police Competition
The San Antonio Police Marksmanship Unit hosted the Texas State NRA Regional Tactical Police Competition
on the 2nd of June. It was a great success, especially for being relatively short notice. They will be hosting another one Nov 2nd and 3rd. This one promises to be even better and with cooler weather!
SHOT show
SHOT show was a great time, once again. Although many of the vendors are the same, there are always new things to see. More importantly though, it’s great to catch up with buddies you haven’t seen for awhile and to
meet new people.
We appreciate the invite from Advanced Tactics and Countermeasures to the LaRue Tactical &ATAC TV LEO / Military Range Day. This is a great way to start off SHOT, shooting some of the latest small arms and stuffing yourself with LaRue BBQ. I’m glad they picked up this event from Aimpoint last year and hope it becomes a new tradition.
